Another lovely little local theatre to add to my list. We went to a talk at lunchtime. A great experience. The staff were welcoming. There was tea, coffee and biscuits all part of the ticket price. It was set out with tables and chairs but there were facilities for row seating and tired at the back. It was nice and warm on a very chilly day and the toilets were clean. Plenty of parking on the main road.

Lovely venue and as expected great acoustics. The only thing that let it down was the inevitable queue for the ladies during the interval.

This is Aldeburgh’s venue for events. It’s particularly known for hosting classical music lunchtime concerts. Being so close and related to the Snape concert venue, the quality is always outstanding.

Rang contact number 45 minutes before start of concert to plan visit and plan use of wheelchair faciliites. Not very helpful or supportive, very uncomfortable for disabled visitors. Building very cold. Kept waiting to get in although wheelchair bound and the weather was freezing. Interval very short so by time went to the toilet was told to wait in cold corridor for 10 minutes until it was felt appropriate for us to come back in.
Really not impressed.
