EXAMPLE REVIEW

"We visited recently to watch A Christmas Carol and we had such a positive experience. Really friendly staff who directed us to our seats. The seating was very comfortable. At 6’3” I tend to struggle for comfort but no problems. We’ve been in before to have a coffee and cake and love the atmosphere. Our hope is to move to Alnwick in the near future and make the Playhouse a regular place for us to carry on visiting."

Great place to meet-up at. Also has the added benefit of Cafe and a library.
We attended a concert - a trio of musicians that treated the audience to female composers. It was a high quality concert that provided us with a great range of musical talent

A great venue to see plays, comedy & films. The auditorium is spacious & seats around 250. The chairs are very comfortable & certainly the first couple of rows have really good legroom. There are enough bars & cafe to keep you happy any time if day. The staff & volunteers are very enthusiastic & keen to help.

Fabulous Cinema, staff and comfy seats. Enjoyed having Scones, Cream, Jam and pot of tea prior and glass of fizz after in bar!

This is a super local theatre. The seats are so comfortable with loads of leg room. We ate in the cafe beforehand and had the most delicious homemade quiche. The chips ordered as a side order were crispy and first class. We travelled a fair distance for our day out, saw a fabulous show, and will return soon.

This civic venue should be celebrated. A library, cafe and theatre... prepared to showcase local talent such as Eliot Smith Dance, that presented Pitman... honouring the Pitman Painters. You are so lucky to have this in Alnwick.
